Pitt Stops: Part 1: Idea to Outcome

January 18, 2018 - 6:30pm to 8:30pm

Part 1: Idea to Outcome
How to Start or Grow A Business: Evaluating the Possibilities

Coming up with a great idea or inventing the next big thing is the first of many steps to becoming an entrepreneur or expanding a business. Come hear the business start-up and innovation experts from Pitt’s Innovation Institute (II) deliver an informative presentation to help you evaluate your idea, identify its market potential, and determine how to move forward with confidence and a workable plan.

Three of Pitt’s current innovation teams will pitch their new business ideas at the event—giving audience members a chance to see first-hand one of the important early steps in evaluating the potential of a new business or innovation.

Pitt’s Innovation Institute helps Pitt researchers and students evaluate their innovations and business ideas and supports the development of Pitt spinouts. The Innovation Institute also helps regional startups and businesses grow and expand.

There is a $20 fee.  Follow the link to register online
