Special Event: PARK(ing) Day

September 15, 2017 - 9:00am to 5:00pm

Today, it’s just a parking space. But on Friday, Sept. 15?

The University's Center for Creativity and Department of Parking, Transportation, and Services are proud to cosponsor Pitt’s first PARK(ing) Day event. More than 20 departments, centers and organizations will transform Schenley Quad parking spaces through creative energy and experimentation.

What is PARK(ing) Day?
Every year, citizens, artists and activists around the world temporarily transform metered parking spaces into “PARK(ing)” spaces: temporary parklets, creative interventions and social spaces.

Pitt’s PARK(ing) Day activities run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m, on Friday, Sept. 15, and are free and open to all. You never know what you’ll see – or do – till you’re there!
