Top Administrators Donate to Support Pitt Students and Mission

University of Pittsburgh Chancellor Patrick Gallagher today announced that he and his senior leadership team have committed a portion of their salaries to support students and the Pitt community during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“I am honored to join my senior leadership team in giving back to the University of Pittsburgh and our students,” said Gallagher. “In the face of this unprecedented crisis, we continue to respond in true Panther form: as a community.”

Gallagher is donating 20% of his 2020-21 salary while the institution's senior vice chancellors have voluntarily committed to donating 10% of their 2020-21 salary to support the University’s students and mission.
