Monique Smith, project assistant director in the University of Pittsburgh Office of Faculty Advancement and Leadership Development, was named as a recipient of a City & State PA Impact Award. The publication’s annual honor recognizes socially responsible leaders across the commonwealth whose work advances community engagement, equity and ethical leadership.

In her current role, Smith provides strategic leadership in designing, coordinating and evaluating programs that support faculty advancement and leadership development across the University.

A Pitt alumna also made the list: Kimberly Joyce (LAW ’00) is vice president for regulatory counsel and corporate secretary at Essential Utilities and serves on the board of the Economy League of Greater Philadelphia.
