Mindy Coccari presented research at an American Heart Association event

Mindy Coccari, associate director of the Ultrasound Research Laboratory in Pitt Public Health’s Department of Epidemiology, presented a research poster at the American Heart Association’s Epi/Lifestyle Scientific Sessions in Boston on April 19. The annual conference brings together researchers working on cardiovascular disease, epidemiology and population health.

Coccari manages the day-to-day operations of the lab and its staff. Her research interests include early-stage cardiovascular disease, obesity and women’s health. She has been with Pitt for more than 23 years
