Olivera Finn will serve as an at-large director of the Society for Immunotherapy of Cancer

Olivera “Olja” Finn, Distinguished Professor of Immunology in the School of Medicine, has been elected to the Society for Immunotherapy of Cancer (SITC) Board of Directors as an at-large director. Finn will start her three-year term in January 2027.

SITC, which was founded in 1984, has a mission of improving cancer patient outcomes by advancing the science, development and application of cancer immunology and immunotherapy. Finn’s goal in her new role is to enhance the society as a welcoming place for new ideas in immunotherapy.

“I envision SITC as a place where new ideas go to live,” she said.
