Learn how Pitt connects local small businesses and drives regional economic impact on May 29

In 2025, the University totaled more than $590 million in local business spending. On May 29, learn how you, too, can scale up your small business to secure contracts with the University of Pittsburgh system.

On May 29, join the Institute for Entrepreneurial Excellence from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. in O’Hara Student Center Ballroom for the 10th annual Doing Business with Pitt. Attendees will learn how to scale up their small business to secure contracts across Pitt campuses. 

The day’s programming includes several guest speakers representing Pitt departments, including dining services, athletics and construction, covering topics such as understanding the purchasing process and selling to the University community.
