The University of Pittsburgh will be closed on Monday, Sept. 7, in observance of Labor Day.
Most operations will pause for the day, and faculty and staff will have the paid holiday off. A few campus services will have the following adjusted hours:
Transit: Pitt campus shuttles — including routes 10A, 20A, 30C and SafeRider — and Pittsburgh Regional Transit are running on modified holiday schedules.
Dining: Hours and availability differ by location. See Pitt Eats hours of operation.
Health: Student Health Services, including the Counseling Center and University Pharmacy, are closed for all University holidays and will reopen at 9 a.m. Sept. 8. When Student Health Services is closed, students can call the Student Health Services’ main number to access the Nurse Triage line for assistance. Students seeking mental health support on holidays, after hours or weekends can also call the Counseling Center at 412-648-7930.
Panther Central and residence halls: Operating as normal.
