Have an idea that for a new program, event or other project for the Year of Engagement?

The Year of Engagement steering committee is accepting applications for proposals for funded projects now through Oct. 1. Matching grants will be offered in tiers: door-opening ($500+), baseline ($2,000+) and transformative ($5,000 to $8,000) levels.

What does “engagement” mean in the context of Year of Engagement? It’s “the act of working collaboratively with others to solve problems for the betterment of society.” Read more about how the effort was started by three Pitt students who had a big idea.
