Reminder: Orientation for New Teaching Assistants on Aug. 14

On Friday, Aug. 14 from noon to 2 p.m., new University teaching assistants (TA) are invited to a virtual event that will introduce them to their roles and responsibilities as TAs, as well as provide them with training in skills useful to fulfilling those roles.

In light of the University’s resiliency framework, this orientation will cover topics related to teaching in the Flex@Pitt model.

The University is planning numerous events to orient new graduate and professional students to Pitt, the Pittsburgh campus and the city of Pittsburgh. Visit the Office of the Provost’s website for more information.
