Shelter in Place Lifted on Regional Campuses

The campus-wide shelter-in-place period on the University’s regional campuses ended at 12:01 a.m. on Feb. 11, 2021. As a result, students on the Bradford, Greensburg, Johnstown and Titusville campuses are now permitted to resume the activities associated with the operational posture of their campus. All campuses, including Pittsburgh, are currently in Elevated Risk Posture, which allows for in-person dining, re-opened recreational facilities and in-person gatherings capped at 25 people. Please take some time to refamiliarize yourself with the posture’s rules.

Also, remember Pitt’s health rules apply regardless of posture: Wear a face covering inside and outside Pitt facilities, wash your hands frequently and maintain at least 6 feet of distance between yourself and others. This is especially important when eating in shared spaces. Indoor in-person dining is one of the more high-risk activities associated with the spread of SARS-CoV-2.

Anyone experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19 is advised to not go out. Students should call Student Health Service immediately:

Bradford: 814-362-5272
Greensburg: 724-836-9947
Johnstown: 814-269-7119

Faculty and staff should call MyHealth@Work at 412-647-4949.
