What Color Is Your Cathy?

University community members of all ages are turning Cathy—the beloved Cathedral of Learning—into a canvas of color to celebrate Pitt Day of Giving on Tuesday, Feb. 23. Coloring pages can be downloaded from the Pitt Day of Giving website.

With no limit on the number of entries and no need to color inside the lines—the Color Your Cathy contest is the perfect way to brighten wintry quarantine days. So far, Color Your Cathy coloring contest entries have ranged from the blue-and-gold hued, the symmetrical and the abstract to the 3-D cutout.

University alumni and friends are encouraged to share drawings on social media using the #PittDayofGiving and #PDoG21 hashtags. The winners of the Color Your Cathy contest will get to choose the allocation for $500 in Pitt Day of Giving challenge funds.

Four alumni or friends will be selected as winners based on creativity, artistic ability and school spirit by the Division of Philanthropic & Alumni Engagement’s annual giving team. Winners will be contacted through their social handles and announced by the Pitt Alumni Association’s Facebook, Twitter and Instagram channels throughout the Pitt Day of Giving.
