Pitt Rises in U.S. News & World Report Rankings

The University of Pittsburgh is ranked among the nation’s top 20 public colleges and universities in the 2020 U.S. News & World Report Best Colleges rankings. Pitt is ranked 18th with Florida State, Penn State and Purdue universities after being No. 26 in the magazine’s previous ranking.

New President Named for University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg

Robert G. Gregerson, dean of the College of Arts and Sciences and senior adviser to the provost at Florida Gulf Coast University, has been named president of the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg, effective July 1, 2019. He succeeds Sharon P. Smith, who has served as president of Pitt–Greensburg since 2007.
