Colloquium: “Political Dissent in Practice: Practical Insights from Social Theory”

Sponsored by the Humanities Center, Rachel McKinney will present her talk with responses from Michael Goodhart, political science and Scott Kiesling, linquistics.  

Rachel McKinney is a Dietrich School Postdoctoral Fellow for the 2017-2018 academic year. She received her PhD in Philosophy from the City University of New York Graduate Center in 2015. Her areas of research include philosophy of language, feminist philosophy and social/political philosophy. Before coming to the Center, she was a Fellow in Residence at the Edmund J. Safra Center for Ethics at Harvard University and a postdoctoral associate in the Department of Linguistics & Philosophy at MIT.
