October 24, 2017 - 4:00pm to 5:30pm

Lecture: The Future of Fundamental Physics
Speaker: David J. Gross

At the frontiers of physics, scientists search for the principles that might unify all the forces of nature and strive to understand the origin and history of the universe. Join David Gross as he describes some of the tough questions being asked and provides insight into some of the proposed answers.

He will also discuss what it means to have a final theory of fundamental physics and whether physicists are capable of discovering it.
