Pitt Day in Harrisburg

May 23, 2018 (All day)

Pitt Day in Harrisburg

Pitt alumni, faculty, staff, students, parents and friends are invited to attend this event as an opportunity to influence state lawmakers by telling their University of Pittsburgh story at Pitt Day in Harrisburg.

Pitt Day in Harrisburg is the annual advocacy day for the Pitt community. As Pennsylvania continues to face budget challenges, it's critical that our elected officials hear that you value public higher education and that you believe Pitt has a very positive impact on the commonwealth.

Transportation to and from Harrisburg, as well as breakfast, lunch, and snacks will be provided. Attendees will have opportunities to meet with legislators in small groups, tour the Capitol, visit exhibits, participate in a career panel with Pitt alumni working in government, and attend a dessert reception.

Come and tell your University of Pittsburgh story!
