Screening and Discussion: Cycle Series: Homelessness and Menstruation

November 14, 2017 - 6:00pm to 7:30pm

 Cycle Series: Homelessness & Menstruation

Cycle Series is a short documentary film series created by BHCS PhD student Sara Baumann, which explores an array of menstrual experiences from a public health perspective. The goal of the series is not only to better understand menstruation by listening to individual narratives, but also to have a format that is easy to share and encourages discourse about experiences that are frequently overlooked. Experiences of menstruation are nuanced and complex.

These films aim to initiate discussions about how different individuals and communities cope with menstruation, and how we can consider their unique needs in future health research, interventions, and policies.
