Save the Date: Community Engaged Scholarship Forum on March 2

Each year, Pitt celebrates the diversity and impact of community-engaged work across the University at the annual Community Engaged Scholarship Forum (CESF). Next spring, Pitt will host the third such forum—this time, virtually. Save the date for “Progress Through Partnerships: Advancing Community Resilience,” part of Pitt’s Year of Engagement, scheduled to take place on March 2, 2021.

The event provides an opportunity for faculty, students, staff and community members to present their community-engaged work, discover new avenues of partnership, network with those who do similar work and celebrate Pitt's commitment to community engagement.

In addition to hosting workshops and poster sessions, the forum also serves as the venue to honor projects with awards including the Senior Vice Chancellor for Engagement Partnership of Distinction, the Soska Wilds Outreach and Engagement Leadership and the CESF Collaboration Champion awards.

Proposals for workshops and poster presentations and nominations for awards must be submitted by Friday, Nov. 20, 2020, at 11:59 p.m.
