Thank You, Advocates

On Tuesday, March 23, 250 Pitt advocates and elected officials participated in the first-ever virtual Pitt Day in Harrisburg. Friends of the Pittsburgh, Bradford, Greensburg, Johnstown and Titusville campuses logged on to share with their state representatives and senators stories of how Pitt makes a difference in their lives and communities.

“In this day and age, when there’s a lot of noise out there, it’s really important that we tell our legislators what’s important. When they hear it from their constituents, they listen,” said Paul Supowitz, vice chancellor for community and governmental relations.

So, from leaders across the University of Pittsburgh to all student, faculty, staff and alumni participants: Thank you and Hail to Pitt!
