Lecture: Topical Controlled Release Drug Delivery to the Middle Ear

November 21, 2017 - 1:00pm

The Society For Biomaterials Student Chapter at the University of Pittsburgh has co-organized a student-faculty ‘biomaterials in tissue repair’ themed lecture series with the McGowan Institute for Regenerative Medicine.

Injury, Repair, and Regenerative Medicine Seminar Series (formerly the Wound Healing Seminar) was created to give a forum for investigators, post-doctoral fellows and graduate students, studying tissue and cellular respond to injury, repair and remodeling. The mission is to develop a community of researchers interested in wound healing, biomechanics and biomedical engineering, as well as trauma and critical care medicine to promote the development of novel therapeutic strategies.

The Fall 2017 theme is focused on biomaterial in tissue repair. The presentation style for the lecture series will include both the graduate student and research advisor presenting a specific project together.

Lunch will be served.
