27th Annual Slovak Heritage Festival
Hosted by Pitt's Slovak Studies Program and the Students’ Slovak Club
The Festival will feature song and dance performances by professional artists from Slovakia, local performing groups, as well as educational lectures and displays, ethnic foods (halušky, pirohy, klobása and holupki) and pastries and vendors with merchandise from Slovakia.
This year the local performers include the Pittsburgh Slovakians, Slavjane Folk Ensemble and the Pittsburgh Area Slovaks. The Slovak Heritage Festival will also feature the Singing Reviľák Family and Jozef Ivaška, well-known musical stars in Slovakia.
