As part of a larger effort to learn more about vulnerable students, Pitt participated in the nation’s largest assessment of students’ basic needs. A committee is now acting on the results.

Actor, bibliophile and philanthropist Richard E. Rauh (A&S ’62, ’64G) has donated his rare book collection to the University of Pittsburgh Library System.
