Black Lives in Focus Exhibit Will Celebrate Black Voices, Art on Campus
A University-wide outdoor exhibition will celebrate and amplify diverse Black voices and Black art. The Black Lives in Focus initiative is guided by the question, “What do we learn when Black life is in focus?” and will explore the richness and complexity of the Black experience in America through art selected from our Pitt and Southwestern Pennsylvania communities.

Andrew Mugler Earns Editors’ Suggestion Honor
Andrew Mugler, an assistant professor in the Department of Physics and Astronomy in the Kenneth P. Dietrich School of Arts and Sciences, has published a paper in Physical Review Letters that has been recognized as an Editors’ Suggestion. About one letter in six is chosen for this recognition.
