Supervisors across the University are invited to attend a virtual workshop presented by the Office of Human Resources’ Organization Development team to support supervisors in implementing the Interim Flexible Work Arrangement Policy (IFWA) in their areas.

Pitt students, faculty and staff who are vaccinated against COVID-19 and complete a voluntary disclosure survey are eligible to win prizes, including up to $2,500 from the University.

The University of Pittsburgh’s Office for Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion will mark Juneteenth, the annual holiday commemorating the end of slavery in the United States, with two virtual events: Black Emancipation: A History of Celebration and From Swing Low to Strange Fruit: The Sounds of Liberation.

Pittsburgh campus staff are invited to join a virtual town hall on Tuesday, June 15, at 3 p.m. to learn more about the University’s plans for returning to campus this summer.

All Pitt staff members are invited to the virtual retreat, “Yes, There is Room for YOU Too! Reimagining Your Professional Path.” Plus, get involved in additional activities with Staff Council.

Faculty, staff and students are encouraged to submit engaging and compelling projects with supporting media that demonstrate research and teaching impacts and have the potential to attract visitors to the Washington, D.C., event. The deadline is July 12.

Beginning in July 2021, the first and second floors of the Hillman Library will be closed for renovations. During the approximately 18-month closure, patrons will need to enter the library on the ground floor level.

The voluntary, anonymous survey aims to assess and address how responsibility creep or job creep has impacted Pitt employees both before and since the COVID-19 pandemic began.
