GSPIA to Host Virtual Event on the Military, Politics and the Upcoming Election

The Wednesday, Oct. 28, event will feature a panel of civil-military experts discussing how the military’s reputation for being politically neutral is being challenged during the current election cycle.

University Extends Winter Recess

The University is extending the Winter Recess period to begin on Monday, Dec. 21, 2020, providing three additional paid holidays to the calendar. The change was made in appreciation for “the extraordinary efforts of our faculty and staff and to keep our community safe,” said David N. DeJong in the announcement yesterday.

Pittsburgh Campus Polling Locations on Election Day: What to Expect

On Tuesday, Nov. 3, people across the country will be casting their ballots and students, faculty and staff at the University are encouraged to make sure their vote is counted. The Pittsburgh campus is home to several on-campus polling locations, and to accommodate safe and lawful voting on Election Day, additional health and safety measures will be implemented at and around these sites.
