While it was announced this week that classes on the Pittsburgh campus will remain online until at least Sept. 14, a small number will meet in person in order to comply with accreditation requirements or provide necessary hands-on experiences that necessitate access to specific materials, space or technology.

This adjustment to the academic calendar will allow for all on-campus students to arrive and shelter in place, and therefore all begin in-person classes at the same time.

Patrons with expired Pitt ID cards are seeing some impact within the new PittCat, and may get notices that due dates of their items may have changed.

Anyone can anonymously report a concern about health and safety behaviors on our campus by using the Pitt COVID Concern Connection online form.

University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg President Robert Gregerson announced that the campus will move to the Guarded Risk operational posture on Monday, Aug. 24.

Residential students should receive their Pitt face covering when they move in, but off-campus undergraduate and graduate students can pick theirs up this week. Faculty and staff should check in with their school or department.

Virtual or in-person, Jumpstart Pittsburgh is committed to helping our children succeed and believe you are essential to that process.
