We are inviting you, a selection of our communications and health sciences colleagues across the University, to preview our new publication, Pittwire Health.
As our beta reader group, we welcome your comments and suggestions. We plan to launch shortly, and we would like to hear any feedback you have by Oct. 11.
Pittwire Health is designed to showcase the work the University is doing in all aspects of health and health care to the media, to other institutions of higher education and to influencers in government and the private sector.
Pittwire Health contains both curated and original content, but it's not limited to the Schools of the Health Sciences. Any school or center across the University with work to showcase in health-related areas — such as sociology, psychology, law, business, education, economics and environmental science, among others — will be included. We’d like your help in identifying work across the University to include and in contributing content to publish.
Pittwire Health also features several regular departments:
- Accolades, showcasing faculty, staff or student accomplishments in health disciplines
- Pitt Perspective, drawing media attention to Pitt work related to current news health topics
- In the Headlines, promoting Pitt experts who have been quoted in the media
- Study Hall, linking to studies published in high-profile journals
