Pitt was named a 2025 Forbes Best Employer in Pennsylvania

Pitt is among the top employers in Pennsylvania according to Forbes, which named the University as a Best-In-State Employer for 2025.

Now in its seventh year, the Forbes list highlights organizations that foster an environment where their employees can thrive. Forbes partners with the market research firm Statista to compile the rankings, surveying more than 160,000 employees to identify organizations with positive work environments and sustainable growth. Respondents identify how likely they are to recommend their own workplace and other organizations in their industry. Pitt was last included on the list in 2023.

Forbes also recently named Pitt a “New Ivy,” a designation marking Pitt graduates as among the most desirable for employers.
