Nominations for the Chancellor’s Distinguished Awards are open

Nominations are now open through Oct. 10 for awards recognizing excellence among faculty members at the University of Pittsburgh.

Any faculty member who has served at Pitt for at least three years is eligible for Chancellor’s Distinguished Awards in teaching, research and public service. Each awardee receives a cash prize of $2,000 and a grant of $3,000 to support their teaching, research or service activities.

Nomination forms for the Chancellor’s Distinguished Research Award and the Chancellor’s Distinguished Public Service Award can be submitted online. To nominate a faculty member for the Chancellor’s Distinguished Teaching Award, read the Distinguished Teaching Award guidelines.
