The senior associate director in Pitt's Office of Sponsored Programs was recognized by the Society of Research Administrators International.

Effective July 12, 2021, Laura Schmid will serve as the director of shared services in the Office of Human Resources (OHR). In this role, she will oversee the development and execution of strategic plans within shared services and continue to evolve OHR’s operational performance to cultivate a culture of consistent process improvement and optimization.

Supervisors across the University are invited to attend a virtual workshop presented by the Office of Human Resources’ Organization Development team to support supervisors in implementing the Interim Flexible Work Arrangement Policy (IFWA) in their areas.
