Submit Your Project to the ACCelerate Smithsonian Creativity and Innovation Festival
Faculty, staff and students are encouraged to submit engaging and compelling projects with supporting media that demonstrate research and teaching impacts and have the potential to attract visitors to the Washington, D.C., event. The deadline is July 12.
Hillman Library Reinvention Continues
Beginning in July 2021, the first and second floors of the Hillman Library will be closed for renovations. During the approximately 18-month closure, patrons will need to enter the library on the ground floor level.

Early Morning Phone Outage Planned for June 7
Most phones on the Pittsburgh campus will be able to place calls but unable to receive them during the 4 to 7 a.m. maintenance window. Pitt Police will continue to receive calls at 412-624-2121 from any active phone, and the University’s ENS will also remain operational.
Summer Vaccine Clinics at Nordenberg Hall
Regular vaccine clinics will be held throughout the summer on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Submit Artwork to the Pride Gallery
Any Pitt community member can submit artwork to the Pitt Pride Month LGBTQIA+ Creative Gallery. Creative works will be displayed on the gallery’s website and on University social media channels.
