In fall 2025, more than 8,000 boxes were shipped to campus residence halls before arrival through the Ship2Pitt program. Pitt is once again partnering with UPS this year to help students lighten their load on move-in day.
Starting today, students can create up to four free shipping labels online through July 14. Packages of up to 50 pounds and with a maximum measurement of 20-by-20-by-20 inches can be dropped off at a UPS Store for shipping through July 22. Boxes received after Aug. 6 must be retrieved by the student from the residence hall’s mailroom, and Ship2Pitt packages received after Aug. 25 will incur additional late shipping fees.
You will receive an email notification from UPS once your packages are delivered to your residence hall room, and you can track your package’s progress on the UPS website.
