Here’s how the University’s facilities management office ensures the academic skyscraper will be functional and beautiful for another hundred years.

These alumni triplets have a unique connection to Pitt's campus and its famed tower, which was shaped by their great-great-great-uncle, Charles Zeller Klauder.

The city council recognized the director of Pitt’s Community Engagement Center in Homewood for his work connecting local entrepreneurs with mentors and funding.

In the 1920s, Chancellor John Bowman envisioned bringing Pitt together under “the greatest educational structure in the world.” One hundred years later, it’s become an awe-inspiring symbol of ambition and big ideas.

The institute’s College Presidents for Civic Preparedness coalition included the University’ All Angles program in its annual impact report.

The new initiative will develop and connect student workers as they reach out to neighborhood youth development programs.

Along with the annual honor for excellence in doctoral mentoring, the office is introducing an award for experiential learning and impact.

The forum is hosting Robert Pape, a professor of political science at the University of Chicago who studies international security affairs.

The exhibition by Susy Bielak, Fred Schmalz and Aaron Henderson, which is based on materials from the University’s Archives and Special Collections, will run through July 2027.

Any faculty member who has served at Pitt for at least three years is eligible for honors in teaching, research and public service.
