Chris Papst (CGS ’03) has written a new book on the Baltimore City Public Schools system, which, despite being one of America’s largest and most funded school systems, is also among the lowest performing historically.

The book is built off of content from his eight-year, Emmy-winning investigation into Maryland’s public education systems. Papst is an investigative reporter for WBFF in Baltimore, and won the Television Academy award for the station’s “Project Baltimore” program.

The book, published by Sunbury Press, released on Aug. 26.
